The Flex Show, a periodic podcast about Flex topics and news, has started a video series entitled “Fifteen Minutes with Flex”. Looks like it will be a series of vidcasts introducing Flex topics and tools. The first in the series is an introduction to using Flex Builder to setup a Flex project (http://www.theflexshow.com/blog/index.cfm/2008/6/25/The-Flex-Show–Fifteen-Minutes-With-Flex-1–Setting-Up-a-Flex-Project). For those of you who watch, I’d suggest keeping with the standard source folder that Flex Builder provides rather than following the steps outlined to create a new source folder, but otherwise, it’s a great introduction to the tool. As the show makes more vidcasts available, I’ll try to throw them out for the groups perusal.
If you’re not already, I’d suggest subscribing to the Flex Show podcast and digging through their archives. They’ve got some great interviews with members of community doing some great work.

This reminds me, one of the places that got me really exited about Flex was the Silicon Valley Flex User Group. Their website (http://www.silvafug.org/) is very non-fluffy AND they have an ongoing series of videos on Flex. THey also have a very active list on Yahoo. FYI – these are the 360 Conferences guys and this is where all that started.
Hope it helps a bit all those wondering about Flex.
