We’re pushing through to get the second rendition of our Lunch Chooser application ready for our July code camp.  We hope to show how to create custom components and events within Flex.  Look for an updated to the SVN repository on the blog over the next couple weeks.  We’ll try to give more time before the meeting this time for review, but be lenient, it’s only our second attempt.

In the mean time, we’ve updated the sample application from the June code camp with a simple solution for finding a random place for lunch.  Updates were only made to Main.mxml file; the project can be found here.  Please keep in mind, this is a very simple solution but by no means the only solution.  For those of you who are interested, we’ll be setting aside some time at the July meeting for group members to show off how they chose to implement their own solutions.  Don’t be shy to show off, it’s the best way the everyone in the group can learn from each other.

On a side note, don’t forget to register for the July meeting @ EventBrite.  Adam has done some great work to reconfigure the site so that we can now see who is attending the meetings as well as a list of all of our planned events.  See you in July!
