I just got finished with the recording session for the CFWeekly podcast regarding whether or not to use a framework for Flex (and if so, which one and why). Many thanks to Matt Woodward for including me in this debate/discussion.

We had a whole slew of opinions from every side of the topic: Tom Burleson from Universal Mind, Chris Scott from Managing Editor, Laura Arguello from ASFusion (developing the Mate framework, pronounced “mah-tay” like latte), Kurt Wiersma from the American Academy of Neurology, Jeffry Houser from The Flex Show Podcast and DotComIt, and yours truly. Matt said the podcast should be available by Monday of next week (April 7th, 2008) so go on over and check it out and let us know your feedback.

Note that Chris Scott is considering presenting at Adogo on his Swiz framework, and based upon Chris’s pedigree with ColdSpring and his prior work with the brain trust at Cynergy Systems, my personal expectations are high.
