I want to start out by thanking everyone for their patience with us here at the Adogo over the month of February.  Our February meeting was met with a couple of snags, but we appreciate those who came out to join us (shout out to Mark for some great Flex questions).  That being said, we know we’ve been a bit slow getting out information for our March meeting, but it’s definitely worth the wait.

This month we are fortunate enough to have 2 very talented speakers.  First up we have, Simeon Bateman, an Adobe Community Expert, who will be presenting on “Using Flex with RESTful WebServices”.  Next we have Daniel Roop giving a talk about “FlexUnit Basics”.   Both of these individuals are active members of the Ruby community, so the March meeting should have some very relevant examples to not only the Flex programmers but to the Ruby/Rails folks as well.  In fact, I would really encourage anyone who is interested in working with unit testing and/or REST to come and join us.

Our meeting this month will be sponsored by the fine folks over at Protoh.  A big congratulations goes out to their latest product release, TallyHoh.  For more information, please visit their website at http://protoh.com.  Also, don’t forget to stop by Adogo Jobs to check for the latest posts.  The demand for professionals with experience in Flex, Flash, or ColdFusion is growing in the Central Florida area; if you’re looking for new opportunities, the user group is a great place to start.

Primers will be coming soon, so watch the blog for further details.  See you at the meeting!
